It’s official! The Music Vault is reopening on Tuesday 16th of June!

Firstly we would like to thank all of our customers who have continued to shop with us online during the coronavirus pandemic. As the governments restrictions have started to ease we can now reopen our store to the public from the 16th of June. We have introduced a number of new measures to ensure you can shop safely.

Social distancing measures

We are currently restricting the number of people inside the store to a maximum of two at any one time. This can either be two separate customers or two people from the same household. Our shop is very small and in order to keep to the 2 meter social distancing measure this is the maximum we can allow inside at any one time. You may be required to queue at the entrance and wait until a member of staff calls you in. 

Can i still pay via cash?

We are actively encouraging customers to pay via card when possible but we are still accepting cash. You can also use our click and collect service ! (click and collect)

Opening times

Our store is based inside Wellingtons indoor market which is only open on certain days of the week. The market is now back to normal trading hours.

Tuesday 9am – 4pm

Thursday 9am – 4pm

Friday 9am – 4pm

Saturday 9am – 4:30pm

Second hand

Coronavirus can survive for up to 72 hours on hard surfaces. Therefore all of our second hand items are being kept in storage and in isolation from all other stock for 3 days before being put in the shop for sale. We are also thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting every item to help stop the spread of the virus. 

Buying and part exchange

We are still buying and accepting part exchanges! However you now need to get in touch first and arrange this before coming into the store. For the safety of our staff we are also asking that you thoroughly clean the items before bringing them into the store.

Trying out instruments & equipment

You are required to clean your hands both before and after playing an instrument. There is a hand sanitising station in store for customer use. Our staff will also be cleaning and disinfecting instruments after playing. We also ask that you avoid touching anything in store without asking a member of staff first. 

Delivery Information

Please be aware that due to the coronavirus pandemic there are likely to be delays in shipping times. We aim to get your items to you as quickly as possible. For full details of our delivery policy please click here. 

Servicing & repairs

We are still performing setups, repairs and modifications. As a safety precaution we are keeping any item brought in for repair in storage for 3 days prior to performing any work as the virus can survive for up to 3 days on hard surfaces.

We ask that you please follow all the measures we have put in place both for your own safety and the safety of our other customers and staff. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
